OMG!! Cant believe Im going back for CNY NEXT WEEK!!! =D
Anyway, the MPP election has kinda heated up the atmosphere in UTM this week....
This is how our faculty look like for the week....
Apart from UTM, MPP election is happening in other local uni too... This pix above is captured from facebook...."mansuhkan TITAS, HE"?? Do you think that is possible?? and "memecat para pensyarah"??? Well, if the lecturer is really tooooooo over "Tak-boleh-pakai"...
On the other end of UTM's world...
Most of UTM's second year student are currently taking Advanced English for Academic Communication... One of our group assignment is to do a research on any topic chosen by ourself and approved by our subject lecturer...
And one of the task of the research is to do questionnaire.... And I came across one very disturbing topic.....
"Problems faced by Chinese students when studying in UTM".... And the questions are:
- What are the problems that you face when staying with Malays?
- What are the problems that you face with the Malays when doing group assignments??
- What are the food problems that you face in UTM?
- What are the accomodation problems that you face in UTM?
- What are the culture problems that you face in UTM?
- What are the problems you face in UTM that are related to your freedom?
- What are the religious problems that you face in UTM?
- What do you think about the activities organized by UTM?
- Please give 3 suggestions to minimize the problems faced by Chinese students in UTM?
- What do you hope for regarding the integration of Chinese into the majority group in the future?
Seriously.... What's wrong with this group of "uni" student.... Every race face this very same problem.... If you tell me they're trying to narrow down the scope of their research, I dont think sooo.... Although stated there in their title is "Chinese student in UTM", they actually focused ONLY on the Chinese students from one major of Computer Science course. Did their lecturer actually take a look and think about their topic??
Got to go~~~ =D
